According to the Myanmar government, the Rohingya are Bangladeshi, who are currently living illegally in Myanmar. Although the history says different. History says, Rohingya has been living in Myanmar for centuries. In the 7th-8th century, the Rohingya population emerged. Initially the emergence of Rohingya people in the mix of Middle Eastern Muslim and local Arakanese Later, this hybrid race emerged as a fullfledged nation in the eighteenth century, composed of people from Chittagong, Rakhaine, Arakanese, Burmese, Bengali, Indian, Middle East, Central Asia and Southeast Asia. From the 15th century to the 18th century, Rohingyas had their own kingdoms in Arakan.

The Myanmar government claims that Rohingyas are Indian, Bengali and Chittagong Settler, whom the British brought to Arakan. Although historically it was established that Rohingya developed as a clean nation in Arakan several centuries before the British came to be Burmese ruler. Rohingyas, denied by the Myanmar government as citizens, are denied access to all types of citizens and basic facilities. It is important to have an identity card for travel, education and treatment in Myanmar. But the Myanmar government does not issue the identity card of Rohingyas, that is why the backward Rohingyas are lagging behind.

Many Rohingyas have been occupied and closed in the business. The Myanmar government arranged some special accommodation for Rohingya.

Rohingya have to get the local administration’s permission to marry. Besides, punishable offense for Rohingyas having more than two children. Children of Rohingya families have to live their lives in order to marry without permission from the administration and to have more than two children. They are about forty to fifty thousand. Children of these families are not listed on the government’s ‘gateway system’, which is, like poisoning on boiling their lives.

The Myanmar government, what is doing everything towards the Rohingyas, is a crime against whole humanity.

Not giving citizenship facility to Rohingyas, who have developed in Arakan for more than a thousand years, forced to get out, to be inhu – mane, to be forced to work in forced labor, to discriminate in justice, to share ownership, universal educa – tion, medical, utility services and ba – sic human rights. Communal riots that have been added to the oppression of the My – anmar government is provoking oth – er Buddhist Arakanis including Rakh – ine against Rohingya.

The Myanmar government is giv – ing direct and encouraging Buddhist fundamentalism against communal disputes against Rohingyas.

They opened the doors after our call,” Erdoğan told a meet – ing of his ruling Justice and Develop – ment Party (AKP) in Ankara, adding that the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) will deliver 10,000 tons of aid after de – livering the initial 1,000 tons. “The second stage is 10,000 tons. Aid will be distributed,” he added. This issue will be a significant agenda point in our United Nation General Assem – bly meetings there,” he said. While noting that some of the footage, pictures and news reports regard – ing the Rohingya “have nothing to do with reality,” Erdoğan said “there is the reality that causes the victim – ization of millions of people.” “We will activate all international mech – anisms in order for the Rohingya Muslims to not become victims of regional calculations,” he said, add – ing that he had spoken on the phone with nearly 30 leaders to find a solution. Çavuşoğlu, meanwhile, said Ankara wants a “lasting solution” for the plight of Rohingya Muslims.

Turkey will also deliver ambulances to Bangladesh to help it cope with the refugee flows, adding that Ankara was determined not to “abandon” Rohingya and said his visit would help determine steps that can be taken to improve their conditions. “Not only the Islamic world, but also the entire international community should be sensitive to the mass killings. Unfortunately we haven’t seen that sensitivity. There is a human tragedy there and it is unfolding in front of the eyes of the whole world,” Çavuşoğlu said. Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Çavuşoğlu said President Erdoğan, who is also the current term president of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has been discussing the issue with several Muslim leaders to find a solution. Suu Kyi has been accused by Western critics of not speaking out for the minority that has long complained of persecution, and some have called for the Nobel Peace Prize she won in 1991 as a champion of democracy to be revoked.
